Van Nuys delivery, in practice

Van Nuys is one of the densest parts of the Valley, and that shapes how we run deliveries here. A large share of our Van Nuys orders go to apartment buildings and multi-unit complexes along Sherman Way, Victory and Van Nuys Blvd — so if your building has a gate, a callbox, or a lobby, tell us when you order. Meeting your driver at the entrance with your ID out is consistently the fastest way to finish a delivery, and it saves everyone the callbox dance.

Timing matters too. Van Nuys Blvd and Victory back up hard between about 4pm and 7pm on weekdays, and the 405 through the Sepulveda Basin adds time to anything crossing from the west. Orders placed before 3pm or after 7:30pm generally land on the faster end of our window. Friday and Saturday evenings are our busiest stretch of the week — still same-day, just closer to 60 or 75 minutes than 45.

The Lake Balboa and Valley Glen ends of the service area are quieter residential runs and usually move quickly. Government and civic traffic around the Van Nuys Civic Center thins out after 6pm, which helps evening deliveries on that side.
